Young Reporters

Young Reporters is an annual journalism competition in environment and sustainability. School classes in grades 6–9 and upper secondary school get the chance to raise important issues and show new perspectives.

MYP3 students are participating in the "Unga reportrar" competition, Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE). During their Science classes in January/February, they have worked on researching environmental issues, within the theme Plastics and promoting solutions through investigative reporting and video journalism.

They have developed their research and evaluation of sources skills, found experts to contact, written formal emails, conducted interviews, which have ultimately helped them produce their own stories.
