"At Career Day Tech we learned about different working cultures, and specifically the Swedish – also in relation to the Danish. Intercultural expert, Christina Rundcrantz from BBi Communication talked about workplace culture and the power of intercultural competence. One takeaway was clear:
When we can identify cultural differences, we can bridge them.
Intercultural competence, something you can put on your CV if you are good at it, is not about becoming someone else. It is rather about knowing your own style, understanding others, and staying curious enough to adapt when needed. Christina called it developing your CQ Cultural intelligence, the ability to work effectively across cultures."

"The Career Day held at Medicon Village on 3 December once again demonstrated its role as a catalytic event for students, early-career researchers, and companies eager to engage with the next generation of life science talent. Co-organised by Medicon Village and the Careers Centre at the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University, and sponsored by the Cross-border Talent Bridge project, an EU Interreg initiative, the event attracted around 340 job seekers and 20 exhibitors. The strong turnout underscored both the dynamism of the regional life science ecosystem and the diverse career pathways available within it."

"International Citizen Days in Copenhagen last week brought together more than 3,500 students and job seekers, making it a vibrant meeting point for international talent."

"At the core of every thriving innovation ecosystem lies a simple truth: talent is the key to growth. In the Greater Copenhagen region, where life science plays a central role in shaping the future of research and health care, the ability to attract, nurture, and retain top international talent has never been more critical."

"One of the defining characteristics of Ørestad today is its large international community. 48% of residents in Ørestad City are non-Danish, making it one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Copenhagen."

"In Skåne, we are competing for global talent, particularly in tech and deep tech, where there is a worldwide shortage of skills. That’s why we are committed to attracting and retaining talent with other key players in the innovation ecosystem."

"On December 3, we hosted Career Day TECH 2024, uniting international master students, PhDs, and post docs with tech companies. Career Day includes a company expo, matchmaking between skilled candidates and companies, and inspiring career-topic break-out sessions.."

"The Greater Copenhagen region faces a pressing need for skilled professionals in the life sciences and tech sectors, particularly in the critical areas of medtech, biotech, and foodtech. This talent shortage challenges the growth and global competitiveness of companies in these fields. Consequently, as the Greater Copenhagen region strives to lead in these areas, attracting and retaining highly qualified international talent has become essential."
